The city is primarily served by two interstate highways. I-25 which runs from north and south passing through the Colorado. Many state highways are also there which serve the city efficiently one of them is State Highway 21 which is a major east side semi-expressway from Black Forest to Fountains and commonly known as Powers Boulevard.

The rock formation is 300 million years old and there are many events like hiking, biking and horse riding. The park looks beautiful especially in morning light or twilight. Pioneer museum is also the point of attraction for tourists it is located in old Paso County and was built in 1903.
